Will haunt us today
And as for tomorrow?
As they say, “Come what may.”

Hooks
Isilliya has an extensively list of hooks due to her lengthy timeline as a roleplayed character. If any of them inspires you for a backstory connection, please feel free to message me! This section is a WIP
Historical Hooks
Nobles and clergy may recognize Isilliya from her family's prestigious history. Isilliya was born into the Morninglight household. Their esteem not from wealth or political alignment but instead their service to the Light. High Priestess Raelareen Morninglight was known for her pacifism and prominent as a field healer. High Priest Tylaris Morninglight was known for his services and preached for unity within the Light.Additionally, Isilliya was accepted into the Priesthood three years before most children. While she was accepted due to her parent's prominence, she quickly earned her spot amongst her peers. Isilliya proved to be incredibly gifted within the Light and ultimately needed her programs adjusted to a higher difficulty. After the Third War, and the death of her parents, Isilliya joined an elite core known as Dawn's Syndicate. They earned their prominence by pushing back the Scourge, Shadow, and Demonic forces. They were led by Lord Alaris Dawnstone, the surviving son of the Dawnstone household, and a paladin.Nobility and clergy may recognize the Dawnstone family name. They were known for their wealth and blending politics with religion. Above all that, however, they were known for having a unique artifact that served as their namesake, 'The Dawnstone.' None except the family were permitted to be in contact with it. However, it did make the occasional appearance at important sermons hosted by the family.Dawn's Syndicate was historically present and in service during a variety of events in Vanilla, Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, and Cataclysm. As this list is quite extensive, I will include a link to it once I have a fully written timeline. However, they mysteriously vanished shortly after Thrall, the Aspects, and the Champion of Azeroth defeated Deathwing and prevented the second cataclysm. Isilliya returned to the church, alone, and accepted High Priest Tanaris Dawnsinger's request to be his pupil.During her time in Dawn's Syndicate, Isilliya befriended an undead Revantusk named Zul'baljin. It was through her efforts of reconnecting him with his tribe that she was welcomed in (and ultimately made an honorary family member). She was gifted the name Suliya amongst the Revantusk.Hungry for knowledge, Isilliya learned more about the loa, and eventually Lukou. Determined to earn the loa's blessing, Isilliya took on all the trials required of her, including a study in the powers of herbalism and alchemy. In time, she was blessed by the loa of healing and respite, and solidified her status as an witch within the tribe (earning her the right to Zul'suliya).A few years after the disappearance of Dawn's Syndicate, Isilliya was forced on her High Priestess trials. Though she left the church unwillingly, her expedition put her in the crossroads of Tuan'zeh— a Zandalari. Together, they were quite formidable. The pair were present during:
• The Crusade on Draenor where they were combatants against demonic forces.
• Legionfall where they continued to combat demons.
• They arrived in Zandalar prior to the War of Thorns.Isilliya and Tuan'zeh defended against the Alliance during the Battle of Dazar'alor. Isilliya primarily focused her efforts on protecting the innocent.
Recent Hooks
Isilliya has been growing a positive reputation for her rituals and services. Feel free to reach out if you need a representative of the Light at your event! She is the matriarch of an exclusive coven of lightwielders. Though recognized by the church, not much is known about the coven outside of the fact it is diverse, faction neutral, and that Isilliya hand picks its membership.Isilliya and Tuan'zeh have occasionally been spotted on pilgrimage to loa shrines.
Miscellaneous Hooks
Isilliya has been given the Gift of Tongues through the Light. She is available for your translation* needs! The Light has gifted Isilliya Intuition. An empathetic version of soothsaying.Rumors circulate amongst the Sandfury that she's a loaslayer. An apiarist, Isilliya is often willing to trade or sell honey wares.- I can no longer use [Tongues] for this so I appreciate whispered translations!

Description
And it was as though a ray of the sun had been plucked from the heavens, shaped by divine expertise, into the shape of a woman— never quite able to be touched. The gilded dawn painted Isilliya as though she was carved from it. Aurous curls twisted thickly; the way they twisted always seemed to shimmer with a fiery opalescent polish. On the left, her hair had been tightly braided into four rows. They trailed along her scalp before being bound at the back. Their length joined the rest of her heavy curls. Bound to the ends were several musical rings shaped from gold. They clinked together with an airy chime— as if she was being followed by a choir of tiny bells. Those keen of sight could catch the hint of a glowing treble clef — that featured an angel’s wing and musical sheets on either side — on the back of her neck.Isilliya was blessed with traditionally beautiful features (even by elven standards). Striking eyes were bled of color, leaving her irises white. They glowed with the serene ambiance of dawn. Eyebrows and eyelashes were the same shade of daylight only they were tipped by a more purified shade of gold. High cheekbones were studded with sky-tinted pearls. The apples of her cheeks were dotted by honeyed freckles; they had a slight, metallic shimmer to them. A closer look and one may of noticed them hidden by her tresses, behind her ears. Those ears were longer than average ears and more drooped than others of her kin. Her lobes were gauged and often filled with gold or bones. Meanwhile, the tips were studded thrice, with two of her studs dedicated to the spiritual energies of Lukou while the center-most stud glistened with the Light. Celestial nose was left unpierced alongside coral colored heart-shaped lips. Her jaw narrowed with a smooth curve into a cute, rounded chin.To the surprise of no one, Isilliya’s radiance only continued with the rest of her appearance. Pear-shaped frame was toned for agility; she was not a typical church-bound lightwielder. Her core and legs were unashamed in their strength. Her skin was like sun-kissed champagne— golden, it had a slight sparkle to it that frequently caught the gaze. Metallic seafoam stained it in Zandalari styles; the ink was infused with the spiritual energies of Lukou. A similar, more fluid bonding tattoo was permanently painted into the side of her left hand. Palms and soles were stained by the Light— though one could argue the entirety of the elf was carved in an angelic image. It was not uncommon to see her in airy attire with various Zandalari adornments. Golden accessories were often paired with the colors of morning light— brilliant blues, pastel corals, and misty lavenders. She regularly repurposed broken chains into her style, an acknowledgment to her status as the Breaker of Chains. Additionally, she was never seen without a rather large, brilliant gemstone. More often than not, her attire exposed the freckles on the backs of her hips but hid the ones on outer ankles. Like those that were easily spotted on her cheekbones, they were a gleaming amber in color. To those that listened closely, Isilliya always had a melodic aura; it was beyond the bells she wore around her ankles or the rings in her hair. The distinct but lovely sound of wind chimes whispered around her.Regardless of interaction, it was irrefutable that Isilliya had been touched by her faith— a reflection to the ren’dorei and their void or those who had become lightforged.
